Berlin: Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp Memorial Tour
About This Tour
Join us on an unforgettable guided tour to Sachsenhausen, one of the most significant Holocaust memorial sites and a former Nazi concentration camp. This experience offers deep and respectful insight into the history and daily life within the camp, helping you understand the atrocities and resilience of those who suffered here.
Our meeting point is Alexanderplatz, where you will be welcomed by an expert local guide. From there, we’ll embark on a scenic train ride to Sachsenhausen.
Upon arrival, you will explore key sites of the camp, including the infamous Tower A, bearing the haunting “Arbeit macht frei” sign. We will walk through barracks 38 and 39, where Jewish prisoners were held, visit the punishment cells, the infirmary, and the morgue. You’ll also see the kitchen, now transformed into a museum, and the remains of Station Z.
At the end of the tour, you have the option to return to Berlin with the group or stay longer to explore at your own pace.
